We are so lucky to live in a place where we can drive into DC, park in front of the Washington Monument, have a quick game of soccer, take a family picture, walk over and see our favorite exhibits at the Natural and American History Museum, eat lunch, pop by the White House, eat an ice cream and then drive home. What a beautiful January day!

365 Day Photo Challenge - Day 1
The first of January ... the start of a new year. Today I am following
the lead of some fellow bloggers and attempting my first 365 day
challenge. I will challenge myself to upload one photo a day for the
entire year of 2012. I can't promise that [any of] these pictures will
be of any technical merit, as they will probably mostly be from my
iPhone, but they will capture our year. And I'm excited to get
started! Today I am posting a picture of Mason playing with his "guys"
he got for Christmas. I love watching Mason make these guys "talk" to
each other!
